As part of his resolve and fulfillment of campaign promises, the member representing Obanliku/Bekwarra/Obudu Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Akpanke has facilitated the installation of 2G MTN mobile network to over twenty (20) rural communities in the Federal Constituency.
The mobile network will primarily enables wireless communication using mobile devices, such as mobile phones, smart phones or tablets. It will also provide the necessary infrastructure and enhance research based knowledge for teachers and students of the Federal Constituency.
The benefitting communities includes; BAYAGA,BAYALELE, AMANA,KUNDEVE 11,YINDEVE,AGONOGO, UGUGU, BUKUYAMA, YADOO, OMALE all in Obanliku local government area, and BEBUABO, BEGIABA, KUTIANG, ASHIKPE, BAYATUNG UKPE, KOGBOR UKPE, OGOJA ALLEGE OKORSHIE in Obudu Local government area respectively.
The second phase of this project will commence from Bekwarra Local Government Area from January 2024 down to some parts of Obudu that are yet to be captured.
