Senator Stephen Odey Ph D, Commissioner for Education, Cross River State attended the ongoing 67th National Council on Education (NCE) Meeting with several Stakeholders of the Education Sector. The NCE is the highest policy making body on Education in Nigeria, saddled with the responsibility of considering and subsequent ratification of recommendations from the Joint Consultative Committees on Education Plenary Meetings.
The Commissioner for Education, Cross River State leading other Honourable Commissioners, Chief Executives of Federal Parastatals, State Executive of Boards, Directors and other Education Stakeholders at the 67th NCE meeting ongoing at Lagos Airport Hotel, Awolowo Way, Ikeja.

The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Mr Andrew Adejo, the representative of Lagos State Government, the Honourable Commissioners for Education from the 36 States and the FCT Secretary for Education, the Permanent Secretaries from the State Ministries of Education, Directors, Chief Executives of Education Parastatals, delegates and other stakeholders across the federation are in attendance.
The theme of the NCE meeting is: “Addressing the Challenges of Policy Implementation: A Panacea for the Achievement of Education 2030 Agenda.”
The 67th National Council on Education Meeting will end on Friday December 15, 2023.
