The State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq, JP, earlier today hosted the Deputy Governor, Rt Hon Peter Odey, and his entourage at his country home in Imaje, Yala Local Government Area.
During the visit, a respected political leader and businessman, High Chief Higgins Peters, reaffirmed the unity of the northern senatorial district of Cross River, declaring that “the North is one, united and strong.”
The gathering brought together key political stakeholders and appointees from across the state. Those in the Deputy Governor’s entourage included Hon Peter Akpanke, member representing Obanliku/Bekwarra/Obudu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives; Director General of Homeland Security (Cross River North), Hon Raphael Odu; Commissioner for Housing, Hon Dr (Mrs) Beatrice Igwe; Federal Commissioner representing Cross River State in the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hon Dr (Mrs) Stella Odey-Ekpo; Chief Paul Santus Ofana; Hon Francis Peters of the Cross River Internal Revenue Service, Ebriku John Friday Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Data Analytics among others.
The meeting was described as a show of solidarity, unity, and renewed commitment to strengthening the APC in Cross River North and beyond.
