The  Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, received a delegation from the Traffic Management & Regulatory Agency (TRAMRA) in his office in Calabar. The visit, led by the Director General of TRAMRA, Barr. Effiong Umo, aimed to appreciate the Speaker and formally congratulate him on his significant achievements since assuming office.
Barr. Effiong, speaking on behalf of the Agency, commended the efforts and proactiveness of the Tenth Assembly under the leadership of Speaker Ayambem. He stated that, if ranked, the Tenth Assembly would emerge as the best legislative house in the history of the Cross River State legislature.
During the meeting, Barr. Effiong highlighted the deficiencies within TRAMRA and their adverse effects on performance and output. He encouraged the delegation to remain steadfast and uphold personal commitment to their duties, emphasizing that such dedication is vital to supporting the people-first government and contributing to the greatness of Cross River State.

He assured the delegation that the People’s First Agenda of His Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, is an inclusive and people-oriented initiative aimed at fostering a greener, more prosperous, and sweeter Cross River State. He reiterated that TRAMRA, along with other agencies and security outfits, remains a top priority.
The delegation included Mr. Victor Ita, Mr. Ernest Awor, and Barr. Ubi Onen, as well as other representatives from management and operatives, VIO, and personnel from the Department of Public Transport (DOPT).
