Chief Orim commends youths in C’River for maintaining peace amidst nationwide fuss, assures that hard times are temporary.

The Member of the Council, Federal College of Education Kano State and Chairman of the GFO Orim Foundation, Chief Hon (Dr) Martin Orim has praised the resilient youths of Cross River State for choosing peace amidst nationwide protests, assuring that hard times are temporary.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Chief Martin Orim expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the youths for how they handled the current nationwide protest, saying that their decision to refrain from participating in the protests, despite the numerous challenges, demonstrates their maturity and wisdom.

Chief Martin Orim noted that the composure and dignity with which Cross River youths upheld peace and harmony during this challenging time of the nationwide protest exemplify the enduring Spirit of Peace within the state. He said that the youths’ steadfast composure, dedication, and resilience set a powerful example of the state’s collective strength as a community.

“While I deeply feel your struggles and the current difficulties, please be assured that this will eventually pass. I encourage all of us to be patient and work together to support Governor Bassey Edet Otu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in fulfilling their campaign commitments. The Governor and President value your trust and are committed to addressing the issues in our state and country to restore our prosperity.”
