I’ve Passion for Rural Devt, Says Edo Female PDP Guber Aspirant

 

The governorship aspirant on the platform of People Democratic party (PDP), Barrister Omosede Gabriel Igbinedion, has disclosed that she has burning desire to develop rural communities if given the opportunity to serve the people as the governor of Edo State.

Former Lawmaker, who was speaking yesterday at the governorship media parley, stated that she has preference for the development of rural communities.

She added that she went rural because she cared for people at grass roots, stressing that she did her project on rural energy and understood the challenges of rural areas.

The young and vibrant aspirant said she want to be the governor of Edo State to create enabling environment for productivity, industrialisation and to boost the state’s economic activities.

She pointed out that as a former members house of representatives, she understood that there is high unemployment in Edo State.

As part of her strategic plan, she stated that her administration would reinvigorate the River area by partnering with private sector, adding that the establishment inland port would revitalising economic activities in Edo State.

“I will work with federal government to extend railway line to Abuja to boost the economic activities in Edo State,” she posited.
