WAEC’S C’RIVER BRANCH CONTROLLER ON A COURTESY VISIT TO C’RIVER COMMISSIONER FOR EDUCATION

The Cross River Commissioner for Education, Senator Stephen Odey Ph D , received Mrs Halimat kayode, the new West African Examination Council’s Branch Controller Cross River State and her colleague, Mr George Adukwu, Head of Examinations, on a courtesy call today in his office in Calabar.

Mrs kayode, seeks for the Ministry’s support and partnership with WAEC while commending His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Otu , the Executive Governor of Cross River State for his timely free WAEC registration for Cross River indigenes in public schools.

The Commissioner and his Management staff on behalf of the State Governor, welcomed the WAEC new Branch Controller and her team, assuring her of all the adequate support, as the role of WAEC can not be over emphasised, while noting that it was a timely call, as the Ministry just concluded on the compilation and documentation of eligible WAEC candidates for the forthcoming Examination, because the Governor Otu-Led administration is determined to give the State education sector the best and he is optimistic that Cross River State candidates will be coming out with flying colours.
