Hon Odey Brian representing Yala 1 State Constituency in his usual way of showing great love for education, has today approved the distribution of FREE JAMB forms; to be given to qualified members of his constituency in the UTME (JAMB) 2024 Registration Exercise.
If you can remember vividly, one of his campaign promises is to ensure he relentlessly support the good people of Yala educationally, and this he has been fulfilling even before he got elected.
According to him,”I have fully made up my mind not only to ensure I support my people
educationally but to also ensure the forms are
evenly and fairly distributed. These forms; three hundred and twenty (320) which is forty (40) per ward may not be for everyone. I say it again, it is for the less privileged, those who cannot afford it in our communities”.
The Honorable Member has also pledged to pay the first year school fees of selected prospective beneficiaries across the wards with a cut off mark of 260 – 280 upon securing admission to a University of their choice.
All qualified and interested students or parents/guardians who wish to get the form for their children are to submit the following:
1. Copy of SSCE result (minimum of 5 credits,
which must include English and Mathematics). NOTE: Phone number of contact person & the NIN of the candidate MUST be written on top of the SSCE result.
2. Copy of Proof of Local Government of Origin.
3) Proof of Voter’s card, National ID Card etc.
4) Name of Council Ward
5) Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
