IPAC Praises Governor Otu’s Performance, Declares Full Confidence

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Cross River State Chapter, convened a successful general meeting at the Transcorp Metropolitan Hotel in Calabar on Monday, bringing together fifteen state chairmen of registered political parties.

In a major highlight of the meeting, the council unanimously passed a vote of confidence in the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, applauding his visionary leadership and commitment to the state’s growth.

The vote of confidence, proposed and endorsed by all attending party leaders, was in recognition of Governor Otu’s sustained efforts to reposition critical sectors of the state and restore its dignity and development momentum.

In his address, IPAC State Chairman Engr. Effiom Edet Okon praised the governor’s administration for fostering peace, infrastructural progress, and inclusive governance.

“Governor Otu’s leadership has rekindled hope in the hearts of Cross Riverians. From economic revitalization to social welfare reforms, his government is making impactful strides,” Engr. Okon stated.

The meeting also emphasized the need for continued synergy between the state government and political stakeholders to deepen democratic practices and deliver better outcomes for citizens.

IPAC reaffirmed its readiness to work with the administration in promoting unity, good governance, and a peaceful political environment across the state.

The well-attended meeting concluded with a resolution to maintain open dialogue with relevant institutions and ensure that political parties continue to play constructive roles in the democratic process.
