Francis Ekpo Celebrates Easter with Political Ward, Reaffirms Support for “People First” Agenda

The Director General of the Cross River State Electrification Agency, Hon. Francis Ekpo, on Easter Sunday, joined members of his political base in Yahe Ward, Yala Local Government Area, in a warm and spirit-filled celebration of the season.

The gathering, which brought together party stakeholders, community leaders, and grassroots supporters, served as a platform for reflection, unity, and renewed commitment to shared values. In his address, Hon. Ekpo extended heartfelt Easter greetings to all attendees and emphasized the importance of the season as a symbol of hope, faith, and new beginnings.

“Easter reminds us of the power of resurrection the triumph of light over darkness and life over death,” he said. “As a political family, let this moment inspire us to stay united, focused, and committed to the vision we all share.”

He commended the steadfastness of party members in Yahe Ward and encouraged them to remain resolute in their support for the party’s ideals and leadership, particularly under Governor Bassey Otu’s “People First” administration.

Hon. Ekpo reaffirmed his dedication to inclusive governance and pledged to continue working in close collaboration with the grassroots to bring meaningful development to communities, especially in the areas of rural electrification and basic infrastructure.

Hon. Ekpo was accompanied by the Member representing Yala 1 State Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Odey Brian The lawmaker praised the DG’s consistent engagement with his ward and lauded his efforts in bridging the gap between government and the people.
