Women leaders in Bekwarra under the auspices of the forum of APC Ward Women Leaders has passed a vote of confidence on the administration of Hon. Theresa Akwaji Ushie, the Executive Chairman of Bekwarra Local Government Area.
The women leaders led by the APC chapter women leader, Madam Vivian Imogbo converged yesterday at the chairman’s county home in Bekwarra. They declared their total support for the chairman and assured her of their continued commitment to all her programs.
Speaking on behalf of the women leaders, Madam Imogbo congratulated the chairman for starting on a right footing, stressing that her Aggressive Rural Transformational Agenda has reverberated within and beyond the state, bringing pride to female leadership and Bekwarra women in particular. She prayed for more wisdom and assured the chairman of the women’s support because that’s her first constituency.
Other women leaders took turns to pray for the chairman, rebuking every form of manipulation and distractions. In a unanimous declaration, they decreed “ No weapons form against the Queen Mother shall prosper “ as the good Lord shall guide her all through her term in office as chairman and subsequently leader.
The chairman appreciated them for coming and encouraged them to always get involved as her administration operates an open door policy for all development ideas towards making Bekwarra great. She appealed to the women to remain united as she is ready to always partner with them to ensure the best for them.
