Senator Stephen Odey ‘s Band took second position in the just concluded Cross River North Carnival, held yesterday at the ancient city of Ogoja, while in the Children’s Carnival category that was held on Friday, Yala children took First Position.
The Carnival had the bands participation:
1. Stephen Odey’s Band (Yala LGA)
2. Peter Odey’s Band (Ogoja LGA)
3. Ben Ayade’s Band(Obudu LGA)
4. Fidelis Ugbo’s Band (Obanliku LGA)
5. Legor Idagbo ‘s Band (Bekwarra LGA).
The results as announced by the Ogoja Carnival judges:
Ogoja 1st Position
Yala 2nd Position
Bekwarra 3rd Position.
Senator Odey and his beloved wife Mrs Monica Odey, the Honourable Commissioner for Housing Cross River State, Hon. Dr. (Mrs) Beatrice Igwe, Hon Brian Odey, Hon Cynthia Nkasi, Hon Barr. Fabian O Ogbeche, Hon Dr. John Ulafor, General Wonor Austin Ibu with several stakeholders from Yala LGA physically present in solidarity with their Yala- Stephen Odey’s band.
