The Deputy Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Sylvester Agabi Jnr has mourned the death of Elder Ogar Emmanuel Eba, the father of the State Chairman of APC in the state and foremost Political Evangelist, Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq JP.
Hon Agabi Jnr, who expressed shock over the passing of the octogenarian and highly respected community leader, said his wise counsel and cheerful disposition will be greatly missed.
While condoling with the State Chairman, the deputy speaker noted that, the late Elder Eba Ogar was a great father and teacher, whose death has created a huge vacuum in the life of the state chairman, other family members and friends who have during his life time enjoyed his fatherly guidance as a pillar of support.
He urged the State Chairman, Alphonsus Ogar Eba and other family members to be consoled by the remarkable life their late father lived and be strong during this trying and challenging times.
The deputy speaker prayer the Lord to grant “our dear State Chairman, other members of the family and all of us who are affected and grieving over the peaceful death of our Father the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. And may his great soul rest in peace in the bossom of the Lord. Amen!”
