CRSG Tasks Residents On Home Beautification, Hospitality

The Cross River State Government calls on residents of the state, especially those in the Calabar Metropolis, to embark on the beautification of their homes and premises to give the state capital, Calabar, a befitting facelift.

Governor Bassey Otu gave the directive in the week as activities commence for the 32-day Calabar Festival and the much anticipated Carnival Calabar and other activities during the Yuletide.

Towards this end, all residential houses and businesses within the Calabar metropolis, especially those along the carnival routes, are urged to paint them to give the state capital a fresh look.

Further, citizens are enjoined to demonstrate the renowned hospitality and friendliness the people of the state are reputed for, while being vigilant and highly security conscious.
