The Deputy Speaker of the Cross State House of Assembly, Hon Sylvester Agabi Jnr yesterday paid a condolence visit to the family of Mr. Edwin Ereshe Nchor at the family compound in Utugwan, Obudu LGA.
It would be recalled that the Matriarch of the family, late Mrs Janet Agbo Nchor, aged 93 who passed on earlier this year will be laid to rest in burial ceremony scheduled for November 24-25, 2023.
While condoling with Mr Edwin Nchor and other members of the family over Mama’s passage, Hon. Agabi Jnr, described her as a great, dear and loving Mother who made positive impact in the community as a notable women leader and mobiliser. He said she will be greatly missed and prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul.
The Deputy Speaker was joined during the visit by notable leaders and political actors including Elder PJ Ekunke, Hon. Odama Thomas Odama, Chief Ushie Uburu, Dr James Okpiliya, Prof. Frank Okpoliya, and Mr. Magnus Ekwetiong.
He also presented to the family a huge cow as his token support towards the burial ceremony.
