Senator Stephen Odey Ph D, Cross River Commissioner for Education today Tuesday, received donations of some text books from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) Calabar branch tagged:
“why do people pay tax,” the presentation was done by Mr Ishaya Ishaku, the Stamp Duty Commissioner FIRS Calabar branch.
The Commissioner, thanked them on behalf of His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, Governor of Cross River State, for this commendable gesture, noting that it was a good start for FIRS
collaboration, he assured them of total distribution of the text books to the target beneficiaries and that with time he believes they will support by donating Computers knowing their capacity and social corporate responsibility as a big organization.
They had a fruitful deliberation on sundry issues. The Commissioner finally directed Mr Ishaya Ishaku and his colleagues, to convey his gratitude to the entire management and staff of FIRS.
