The Cross River State Commissioner for Education, Senator Stephen Odey Ph D, has declared open the Science and Mathematics Teachers Workshop with the theme:
“Innovative Approaches in Teaching Science and Mathematics Subjects in Secondary Schools.”
The Commissioner at the Teachers Continuous Training Institute Biase, today Tuesday, charged the teachers to take the workshop seriously as the facilities in TCTI are top notch, and they should share the knowledge with colleagues when they get back to their various schools. The workshop is retraining over 100 Science and Mathematics Teachers drawn from the three Senatorial Districts of the state.
The retraining workshop is geared toward the improvement of education standards and is part of the reformation agenda of the Governor Otu’s led administration in the Education Sector of Cross River State.
