C’River Speaker Congratulates Gov. Otu on Election Victory at the tribunal

The Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Governor Senator Prince Bassey Otu following his victory at the Governorship election petition tribunal. In a statement issued today, Speaker Ayambem commended the resilience and commitment of the Governor in the face of opposition challenges.

The Speaker remarked that the petitions brought forth by the opposition were nothing more than distractions aimed at diverting the government’s attention from its “People’s First” mantra. He stressed the need for unity and urged the opposition to lay down their swords and embrace total peace for the greater good of Cross River State.

“This victory is a resounding affirmation of the will and wishes of Cross Riverians at the Governorship polls,” Speaker Ayambem stated. He expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their unwavering support throughout the electoral process.

Furthermore, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem offered his prayers for Governor Bassey Otu, hoping that his leadership would continue to bring progress, development, and prosperity to Cross River State.
